The city’s Parks & Recreation system and the Gruene Historic District sit on opposite sides of the same river story. Gruene fills with visitors. Downtown fills with events. A restaurant lateral on a festival weekend is a different staging problem than a ranch-road house off FM 306.
If your tax bill actually says San Antonio or Schertz, say that. Crossing a city line on I-35 does not move the permit packet. We would rather reroute a ticket than file the wrong hall.
